Looking for a job, or to improve your resume or job searching skills? These workshops are free to anyone who wants to learn more.

Computer Training

Madison College Libraries

Our library staff serves as the college's main computer help desk. We can help you with email, word processing, using the internet and any other tools you may need to use in your job search. Just stop in to any of our libraries or call us at (608) 243-4444. No question is too simple and we are happy to help you.


Madison Public Library

Free basic computer training classes are available at Madison Public Library. These classes will help you learn computer basics including how to set up an email account, how to search the internet, word processing for resumes and cover letters and other basic skills. Training is offered all year long on Saturdays, at 9:00 and 10:00. Call (608) 266-6350 to register for a 45-minute, one-on-one appointment, or for additional information.

NOTE: The Central Branch is currently closed for renovations. Visit Madison Public Library's online calendar for more information about class times and locations.
